JackinMusic was founded in 1824 by an immigrant from Norway named Dennis Jackin. He came to America with a dollar in his pocket and a dream in his heart. That dream was to sell MP3s of quality, upbeat, funky house music to people over the internet.

Unfortunately for Dennis, in 1824 neither the internet nor MP3s actually existed, so he got a job as a coal miner and died broke 2 years later. The label however, lived on.

JackinMusic is a record label that strives to bring you the most uplifting and funkiest house music that we can find. We have a flashlight and it does indeed help us to find the funk.

We believe in being "on the one". We believe the children are our future. We believe that PLUR actually meant something. We can not, and WILL not believe it is not butter. We believe in the warehouse. We believe in the boom-tss-boom, as well as the boom-boom-crack. We believe that your mileage will vary and that you should, in fact, see your dealer for details. We believe in cheeky mission statements.
